About the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society
Welcome to the field trip and membership website of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society (CSMS). We are a federation-authorized rock and mineral organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The CSMS was founded in 1936 by rockhounds and geologists who discovered the area around Pike’s Peak and the Pike’s Peak Batholith was a dream come true for those interested in gems, minerals, crystals, and rocks. Our Club has served the Colorado Springs area ever since!

Society Meetings
CSMS General Assembly meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month (check the Calendar for changes), at the Colorado Springs Christian School at 4855 Mallow Road, Colorado Springs, CO. Visitors are always welcome!
